Braille Transcription in many Languages
To reach as many people as possible Compass Braille transcribes Bible portions and Books into Braille in various languages; adding new ones when needs are identified and funding is in place. Because our Braille is prepared in response to requests from groups and organisations it is possible that, as yet, we may not have transcribed/produced the complete Braille Bible, or specific books, in every language listed; in some cases only one or two Bible portions or books, in others the complete Braille Bible.
Our production is computerised so we are able to produce Braille Bible portions in both large or small quantities and we do our best to respond to all requests. In the case of small quantities we can only help if the Braille portions in question have previously been produced; whereas for 'new Braille projects' funding needs to be found to cover the added cost of transcription.
